VEHARI: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah asserted that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan has failed to provide ‘evidence’ of allegations levelled after assassination attempt on him in Wazirabad. Addressing press conference, he claimed that Imran Khan failed to provide ‘any evidence’ to joint investigation team probing assassination attempt, for which he blamed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Rana Sanaullah and senior military officer.

During his appearance before JIT, Rana Sanaullah said, PTI Chief admitted that he made hearsay allegations, adding that JIT has declared him [Imran Khan] “Liar over false accusations”. “When asked about allegations he [Khan] levelled against military establishment, PTI chief own his statements and videos he made after assassination bid. However, no proof was provided in this regard,” Interior Minister added. He said that party was trying to prepare Tiger Force comprising one million people to carry out events such as May 9. He alleged that Israel and other enemies of Pakistan supported and funded PTI to create chaos in country.

To query regarding next general elections, he said that there could be seat adjustment with any political party to get country out of economic crisis.
