Promoting talented youth ‘top priority’ of govt: Minister Nasir Shah

KARACHI:Sindh Minister for Energy Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said highlighting talents of youth and providing them with employment are top priorities of government.
Addressing special guest to students participating in first All Karachi Inter-University Speech Competition at Numl Universiy Karachi Campus North Nazimabad where 38 students from more than 20 universities across city participated. He said that trend of competition plays key role in highlighting talents of youth. Our youth are future of Pakistan, in future they have to run country and lead country towards development. Listening to speeches of youth in Numl University, I realised that our youth have immense potential. Government values the institutions that highlight talents of youth and also gives them full support. Seeing talents of youth, one realises that future of Pakistan is in safe hands.
Minister said that positive activities in educational institutions can improve society. Government is making all possible efforts for access of youth to educational activities. Nasir Shah said that building of Numl University will be solarised so that students here can complete their teaching process calmly in environment of uninterrupted electricity. He said that negative propaganda made by anti-national elements about Pakistan regarding terrorism and other factors should be completely rejected and ignored by people and youth of country. Under positive and people-friendly policies of government, positive image of country, confidence of foreign and domestic investors has not only been restored but is also increasing rapidly.
Regional Director of University Brigadier (retd) Ali Haider Kazmi that University is playing role in promoting positive activities among youth and developing their leadership skills and today’s event is also link in same chain. PP District Central Information Secretary Asad Hanif, Dr. Shehla, Dr. Sabir, Dr. Hasan Ahmed, Dr. Fazal Hussain and principals of various colleges participated in event.
