Prominent businessman Lootah calls on acting Gov Durrani

KARACHI: Abdullah Nasser Lootah Vice Chairman Nasser Abdulla Lootah Group, businessman from UAE and sponsor of Summit Bank called on acting Sindh Governor Agha Siraj Durrani. Board of Director Salman Fazli and President Summit Bank Jawad Majid Khan were also present.

Discussion on promotion of mutual trade, investment opportunities in health, education and other issues of mutual cooperation took place.

Acting Governor said that there are favourable investment opportunities available in Sindh. He said that investments in health, education and energy sectors in Karachi are available with incentives under ease of doing business. He assured that all possible help and support would be provided to investors.

Abdullah Nasser Lootah outlined transformation of his Bank into full-fledged Islamic Bank, complete overhaul of bank’s operational capabilities and onward digitalisation in accordance with modern banking practices and rebranding of bank to give new outlook and identity to customers.

Lootah expressed his company intentions to install a power plant in Karachi while establishment of university is also under consideration.
