KARACHI: Sindh government  announced appointment of professional tour guides for all tourist destinations in strategic move to enhance tourism in province. Interim Minister for Tourism, Environment, Climate Change and Coastal Development Arshad Wali Muhammad emphasised importance of trained tour guides for creating memorable experiences for tourists visiting historical and cultural sites in Sindh.

Highlighting rich historical and tourist sites in Sindh, he said that presence of professional tour guides was crucial for making experience of tourists unforgettable. He said that trained tour guides possessed knowledge to provide comprehensive information about these historical sites to enhance global tourists’ experience.

In this regard, Secretary of Tourism and Culture Khalid Chachar has written to Finance Department on directives of High Court, requesting release of funds for recruitment of tourist guides. Decision aligned with commitment to promoting Sindh as premier tourist destination by ensuring that visitors received expert guidance for growth and promotion of tourism in province.
