KARACHI: The Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association (SPLA) held its central convention and oath-taking ceremony for the newly elected cabinet for the year 2024-2026 at Government Syed College, Nazimabad.

Secretary College Education, Asif Akram, administered the oath to the newly elected central cabinet members, including: Professor Munawar Abbas, Central President, Professor Ghulam Mustafa Kaka, Secretary General, Professor Rasool Bux Qazi, Karachi Region President, Professor Abdul Haleem Dars, Hyderabad Region, President - Professor Malhaar Sindhi, Sukkur Region President. Other elected officials from Karachi, Hyderabad, and Sukkur regions also took oath.

Secretary College Education, Asif Akram, congratulated the newly elected officials and emphasized the importance of collaboration between SPLA and the College Education Department to improve educational standards in Sindh. Professor Munawar Abbas, Central President of SPLA, reiterated the association's commitment to promoting quality education and working closely with the government to address the concerns of college teachers. The event was attended by college teachers, principals, and officials from various regions, including Karachi University Teachers Society and other educational associations.
