President Xi Jinping, PM Modi express solidarity

ISLAMABAD: Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed solidarity with Pakistan as country faces a catastrophic situation due to floods.
Chinese President Xi Jinping said that China will continue to provide all possible assistance to Pakistan to deal with floods. Issuing a goodwill message to Pakistan President Dr Arif Alvi, Xi Jinping expressed solidarity with flood victims. "I believe that government and people of Pakistan will overcome disasters of floods through joint efforts", Xi Jinping hoped.
On other hand, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote on social networking site Twitter that he was saddened to see flood disaster in Pakistan.
He wrote, "We express our heartfelt condolences to families of victims, injured and all those who died in natural calamity".
"We extend our heartfelt condolences to families of victims, injured and all those affected by this natural calamity and hope for an early restoration of normalcy", he added.
