President says women should join workforce after completing education

ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi has emphasised that more women should join workforce after completing their education. Addressing convocation of Foundation University here, he said that responsibility rests with state to provide women protection against harassment.

President Dr Alvi pointed out that about twenty million children are out of school and every segment of society should come forward to address this issue.

President Dr Arif Alvi said that Pakistan requires graduates in all disciplines including medicine and engineering. He however stressed importance of creating opportunities for them within country to prevent brain drain.
