President inaugurates state-of-the-art 'Ziauddin Hospital' in Sukkur

President Asif Ali Zardari inaugurated the state-of-the-art Ziauddin Hospital in Sukkur, marking a significant milestone in the city's healthcare landscape.

The hospital, equipped with cutting-edge technology and highly competent staff, aims to provide supreme level healthcare services to the people of Sukkur and surrounding areas.

President Zardari termed the inauguration of Ziauddin Hospital a "transformative moment" for Sukkur, emphasizing the need for quality healthcare facilities in underserved areas.

He lauded the efforts of Dr. Asim Hussain, Chairman of the Ziauddin Group of Hospitals, and the hospital management for developing a world-class medical facility.

President Zardari praised Dr. Asim Hussain's unparalleled role in revitalizing and expanding healthcare facilities across Sindh. He announced that the Sindh government would bear the expenses for establishing a university at the Ziauddin Hospital Sukkur Campus.

Additionally, President Zardari donated his personal land for establishing a campus of Ziauddin Hospital in Hyderabad.

President Zardari recalled the supreme contribution of Dr. Ziauddin, a member of the Central Legislative Assembly before Pakistan's independence and an associate of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

He highlighted the significance of the hospital in carrying forward Dr. Ziauddin's legacy in providing quality healthcare services to the people.Dr. Asim Hussain termed the inauguration of Ziauddin Hospital Sukkur facility "a big day in the history of Ziauddin Group of Hospitals."

He vowed to expand quality healthcare facilities in different cities of Sindh in the near future.President Zardari emphasized that providing top-notch healthcare facilities to the public was a top priority.

He reiterated his commitment to ensuring that the people of Pakistan have access to quality medical care.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Balochistan CM Mir Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti, Governor KP Faisal Karim Kundi, Sindh ministers, MNAs, MPAs, hospital management, and people from different walks of life.
