President for special focus on development of GB’s natural, human resources

ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi citing an immense potential in tourism sector of Gilgit-Baltistan, called for special focus on development of human as well as natural resources of region.

He, in meeting with elected members of Gilgit-Baltistan Council, reiterated resolve for GB’s durable socioeconomic development. Discussing current situation and problems being faced by GB, he said that GB people were educated and highly skilled and literacy ratio in region was also pleasing. President Alvi also stressed need to uplift GB’s agriculture and farming sectors. He assured delegation to convey issues faced by GB people to relevant forums.
