ISLAMABAD: President Dr. Arif Alvi congratulated Kazim Khan on his election as Chairman of Council of Pakistan Newspapers Editors (CPNE)’s Committee for free media.

President Dr Alvi expressed confidence that committee comprising prominent journalists would play role in promotion of freedom of press and democratic values based on their experience and ability.  

He felicitated other members of committee including Ayaz Khan, Sardar Khan Niazi, Aamir Mehmood, Irshad Ahmed Arif and Ejazul Haq.
