President confers military awards upon serving, martyred armed forces’ personnel

ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi has conferred military awards upon serving and martyred armed forces’ personnel for rendering meritorious services for defence of motherland. These awards were conferred in an investiture ceremony held here at Aiwan-e-Sadr here. Awards include forty-six Hilal-e-Imtiaz Military, four Sitara-e-Basalat posthumously and one Nishan-e-Imtiaz Military.

 President also conferred Nishan-e-Imtiaz Military upon Commander Bahrain National Guard General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa and Hilal-I-Imtiaz Military on Defence Attache of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan Major General (Pilot) Staff Awad Bin Abdullah Alzahrani.

Investiture ceremony was attended by Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, three Services Chiefs, family members of martyrs and other high ranking civil and military officers.
