President approves restructuring of NEC

ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi has accorded approval to restructuring of National Economic Council (NEC). Restructuring has been made due to induction of new governments in KP and Punjab. SM Tanvir minister for energy, industries, commerce of Punjab and Himayat Ullah Khan Advisor on finance, energy from KP have been appointed members of NEC.

President has given approval for restructuring NEC on advice of Prime Minister under Article 156-A of Constitution.
