ISLAMABAD: President Arif Alvi has become active in connection with talks between government and PTI. Finance minister Ishaq Dar has held another meeting with President Arif Alvi in this regard. Matter of announcement for dissolution of assemblies by Imran Khan on December 23 came under discussion in meeting.

According to sources meeting is part of series of contacts between government and PTI in prevailing political situation.

Finance minister Ishaq Dar briefed President Arif Alvi on economic situation of country. Sources said that two exchanged views on post political scenario of dissolution of assemblies in prevailing economic situation.

Finance Minister apprised President of government stance on dissolution of assemblies.
