President Alvi reaffirms Pakistan’s resolve to increase literacy rate

ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi has reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolve to raise literacy rate by providing school access to all children.

In his message on International Day of Education observed Tuesday, he said we will have to focus on enrolling out of school children.

President also expressed resolve to improve education system and enable youth to earn respectable livelihood with help of modern technology. Arif Alvi said that education is powerful driver of development and one of strongest instruments for reducing poverty and improving health. He said that no country can make sustainable progress without significant investment in human resource.
