President Alvi calls for investment on HR to accomplish prosperity

ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi has called for investment on human resource to accomplish vision of a successful and prosperous Pakistan. Addressing Engineers’ Excellence Awards 2020 here, he underscored need of exploiting immense potential in fields of engineering and technology and utilising engineers’ expertise in field of agriculture.

President Alvi said that some impregnable powers are emerging in world by collective using engineering and artificial intelligence. He said that it is responsibility of institutions like Pakistan Engineering Council to create an atmosphere of excellence.

Dr Arif Alvi said our educational institutions should rise to occasion and increase their capacity to provide world-class knowledge and skills to their students so that they can compete at international job market. He said that at a time when huge quantum of information and teaching material are available in cloud technology, countries like Pakistan have no excuse to miss bandwagon.
