ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi has called for adoption of digital technology and telemedicine to overcome increasing healthcare challenges faced by underprivileged population. He was talking to a delegation of Global Executives of Siemens Healthineers, led by CEO of Middle East and South Africa Regions Ole Per Maloy here.

President urged healthcare providers to embrace innovation and transform healthcare delivery to improve quality of healthcare services and enhance people’s access to medical services in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

He also underlined need to promote preventive healthcare system by creating awareness about importance of prevention and early detection of diseases by adopting a healthy lifestyle.
