Preparations to celebrate Eid Milad-ul-Nabi at peak in Central District

KARACHI: Deputy Commissioner and Administrator District Central Taha Saleem directed administration to complete civic work in district before arrival of Rabi-ul-Awwal. He said that it should be ensured to clear all parts in district from dirt, garbage and over flowing gutters.

Besides job of fixation of streetlights and improvement of sewage system should also be ensured. He asked officials to speed up measures in order to provide Eid- Milad gatherings and processions better environment during their celebration. He said that all possible civic facilities should be provided to lovers of Rasool.

No effort should be spared in providing them ease. Inspecting road carpeting work around Khadija Al-Kubri Masjid in New Karachi Zone Sector 5E he appreciated steps taken. He said that municipal facilities provided by district administration before Rabi-ul-Awwal are commendable. Along with cleanliness, slacked lime should be sprinkled around masajid, imambargahs, gatherings of Milad-ul-Nabi, while better lighting arrangements should also be made.  Road lining, cleaning and lighting arrangements are being carried out on priority basis in district. The main procession of Eid-ul-Milad-ul-Nabi Scent will also be sprayed on central processions towards central municipality.
