Preparations for Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) in full swing across country

Karachi: Muslims all over world elsewhere in Pakistan are marking birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) today.

Preparations for celebration of Eid-e-Milad began with sighting of Rabiul Awwal moon. Enthusiasm of faithful has peaked across Pakistan, buildings and masajid have been illuminated not only in big cities but in villages also. Streets have been decorated and illuminated to mark day.

There will be national holiday. Processions will also be taken out in which models of holy Kaaba and Gumbad-e-Khizra (green dome) will be carried. Children prepare models in streets according to their passion.  Special prayers, gatherings and recitation of Holy Quran will also be arranged all over country.

Free kitchen will also be shared with poor.  Muslims in India, Bangladesh and other countries in region will also celebrate Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH).

Day holds immense significance for Muslims. It goes beyond mere celebration, it serves as moment of deep reflection on life and teachings of Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).  Muslims use this day to rekindle their faith, seeking inspiration from his exemplary character, wisdom and compassion.
