‘PREDA’ nation’s first association for PR, digital event management: ‘Shanaz Ramzi says to take it to new heights of success’­

Karachi: Pakistan PR Events Digital Activities Association (PREDA) was launched in September 2021.

PREDA was established with goal of advancing transparency, ethics and professionalism in industry while striving to raise bar for industry standards and innovation. Association works closely with pertinent businesses, clients and stakeholders to streamline unified approach to relevant policies, including but not limited to financial integrity, ethical relationship management, fair business practices and others.

 PREDA’s main objective is to strengthen ties with related companies in order to find shared solutions to problems as well as to provide forum for all pertinent companies and customers to exchange constructive industry feedback and look for best practices in order to expand and strengthen Pakistan’s global industry footprint. PREDA is now expanding and has announced that it is open for membership, divided between two tiers-Full Membership and Associate Membership.

In order to qualify for Full Membership an applicant needs to be PR, events, digital or Activation Company and individual or partnership proposed by one and seconded by another existing member of same category.  Applicant must demonstrate that they are fully prepared to operate their firm profitably, have demonstrated annual revenue of Rs 5 million or more, employ minimum of five professionals and at least one of proprietors must have at least five years of relevant work experience.

To be eligible for associate membership, an applicant must carrying on any of types of businesses-PR and talent, events, digital or activation. An Associate membership holder wouldn’t be entitled to contesting election for an office of Association and would not have right to vote. Admission fee for Full membership is Rs 100,000 with an annual fee of Rs 50,000. Fee structure for Associate membership entails Rs 100,000 admission fee and Rs 25,000 annual fee.

Atiqa Odho CEO, Odho Consultancy, Fareshteh Aslam CEO, Talking Point, Anisa Rashid Khan CEO Raka, Tehmina Khalid CEO TakeII PR and Warlock Communications, Rasikh Ismail and Pheby Haroon Founder/Partners PH Solutions, Sarfraz Niazi and Jahanzaib Shafique Founders/Partners JB and Jaws, Aamir Mazhar CEO Savvy, Samra Muslim and Kamil Bhatti Founder/Partners, Alchemists and Walnut Communications are founding members of PREDA.
