Practice, Procedure Act in SC, deadline for parties to file arguments till today

ISLAMABAD: In case against Practice and Procedure Act in Supreme Court, parties have been given time to submit their written arguments only till today.
Orders for written replies were issued by full court bench headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa and hearing was adjourned and now hearing will be resumed by full court headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa on October 3.
Hearing of case will be broadcast live on TV.
It should be clear that according to written order of previous hearing of Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Act case, Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa said that there is challenge on pending of Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Act.
Order said that Chief Justice will consult with two senior judges for formation of benches, allocation of cases.
It should also be noted that Attorney General of Pakistan sought respite to go abroad and therefore hearing of case had to be adjourned.
He will also appear in court and submit additional answer.
