PR announced 20pc discount on Shalimar train fare

KARACHI: Pakistan Railway has announced 20 percent discount on Shalimar train service fare from Labour Day (May 1). In statement here, PR said that 20 percent discount has been allotted on tickets on Shalimar Express from May 1 to 15. Meanwhile, passengers will get discount of up to 20 percent on all classes of Shalimar Express from May 1 to 15. And “10 percent discount can be vailed on tickets for May 16-31,” Pakistan Railway announced.
According to Railway Department, Shalimar Express will resume operations from Lahore to Karachi on May 1, en route Sahiwal instead of Faisalabad.
To enhance facilities for high-speed train, its 19 coaches have been
reconditioned at Mughalpura Workshop.
