KARACHI: Prime Minister has re-appointed Rear Admiral (retd) Syed Hasan Nasir Shah as Chairman Port Qasim Authority under Maritime Affairs Division for period of three months or till appointment of regular Chairman.

Port Qasim Authority whichever is earlier, with effect from July 12, 2024, on existing terms and conditions, in terms of Section 6 (3) of Port Qasim Authority Act, 1973 as amended vide Port Qasim Authority (Amendment) Act, 2021.  Notification has been issued by Establishment Division, Cabinet Secretariat from Islamabad.
