I am not afraid of criticism, purpose of naming park in Boat Basin Clifton after diplomat Wajid Shamsul Hasan is in recognition of his valuable services to country.

We are working on various projects to make Karachi green city. Making city green is one of our top priorities,” he said. Talking to media representatives after inaugurating Wajid Shamsul Hasan Family Park Murtaza Wahab congratulated administration of DMC South for making such good and beautiful park. He said that Jamaat-e-Islami leader Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has started decrying and holding press conferences which was supposed to be held on January 16 after local elections.

He said that procedure adopted by PTI has not been seen till date. He said that there was an effort to increase income of KMC by collection of municipal utility bills through K Electric bill, but due to opposition, this work was stopped.

Apart from civic bodies, local residents have to keep their nearby parks clean,” he added.
