HYDERABAD: Awam Pakistan Party (APP) Secretary General Miftah Ismail criticized the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for failing to address the fundamental issues facing the people of Sindh, despite being in power for many years.
He stated that the PPP's primary focus has been on securing votes in the province rather than improving the lives of its residents. Speaking at a press conference in Hyderabad, Miftah noted that the PPP has governed Sindh since 2008, yet the conditions for the populace remain unchanged.
He pointed out that critical issues such as electricity, gas, and infrastructure have not been adequately addressed. "Other than Karachi, there isn’t a single well-maintained park in all of Sindh," he remarked.
Miftah emphasized that no province should experience a shortage of water, urging the government to take concrete steps to enhance water management across Sindh. He also called for greater public awareness regarding the details of the 26th amendment.
