Karachi: Addressing PPP’s jiyalas and area people at Eid Gah Ground Nazimabad, PPP senior leader and former Petroleum Minister Dr Asim Hussain said that people in District Central are well versed to civic development works carried out by District Central so far.
As Local Body elections in city are being held on January 15, Dr Asim reminded PPP workers and dwellers to select and vote those candidates who worked for well-being of city as a whole and for District Central in particular.
He said Central District is working round the clock in fields of education, health, civic and infrastructure projects in District and one can easily adjudge welfare projects completed in District so far. “We are carrying out several civic and people-friendly projects to ease difficulties of district people as in past no any Local Body representative brought changes.”
He said that PPP always shoulder with masses through their thick and thin time and worked for masses’ welfare. Voted for LB office we will bring new projects and more augmentation in education and health sectors as well, he added.
Dr Asim thanked people gathered there in large number and described, “Love and devotion of people towards PPP evident as party always works for peoples’ well-being”.
PPP Central District President Masroor Ahsan addressing gathering asked voters to come out on polling day and embossed their attachment with party by stamping party’s LB candidates on day.
He asked participants of public meeting to shoulder with administration to crush ‘terrorism with might’. He said that we with assistance of people will bring back lights to Karachi.
PPP leader Shehla Raza in her address to gathering said, “Revolution is knocking doors” and with peoples’ support PPP will soon get success”.
PPP crowd holding national and party flags was chanting slogan in favour of party and its leadership.
