Population census to continue in Karachi till April 15

KARACHI: Federal Bureau of Statistics decided to continue seventh digital census process in Karachi till April 15 where 0.6 million households are yet to be enumerated, officials said.

Almost 90 percent census process has been completed in country. Manwar Ali Ghangharu, director of Sindh Federal Statistical Institute said that population of Karachi has increased to 1.23 million as of Sunday. However, 0.6 million households will be counted in census.
