ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) has remarked poor management in Gun and Canterbury Club led to earn defamation. "Additional Secretary take case seriously. Don't make it matter of ego. It is national asset, CJP gave these remarks while presiding over 3-member bench during hearing of case related to Gun and Canterbury matter here.
Additional IPC assured to present Bill 2023 related to Gun and Canterbury Club legislation this week in Parliament. Court remarked CDA together with Federal government should resolve matters pertaining to lease and other outstanding arrears. Administration of Gun and Country club has already hired services of internal audit company. CJP remarked poor management in Gun and Country Club led to earn defamation.
Gun and Country club is meant for providing facilities to people and it is not only for reaping benefits.
CJP while smiling remarked some other bench will hear this case after one month. When court summoned audit report within two weeks then Naeem Bokhari said he is going outside country for one month. Court adjourned hearing of case for one month.
