Political parties to submit assets statement by 29 Aug: ECP

ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan yesterday instructed all registered political parties to submit their assets statement of fiscal year 2021-2022 by Aug 29. As per election act 2017 article-210, all political parties are bound submit their assets statement in ECP. Political parties are bound to submit their statement audited by chartered accountant on form-D within 60 days after the end of fiscal year which includes assets statement, per annum income and expenditures, funds and their sources and assets and dues.

Along with the chartered accountant, party head’s signatures are also mandatory. They also has to inform that as per the regarding election act, no funds has been taken from any prohibited source and the statement is satisfactory. Form-D could be taken from ECP secretariat and provincial offices and could also download from ECP website.
