JACOBABAD: JI Amir Siraj ul Haq has said political parties have become exposed and institutions have failed. “PDM, PTI and PPP governments proved most unsuccessful governments of history of country. Our courts could not conduct accountability. Institution of NAB has failed. Due to their own attitude character of judges was affected. Judges who have to dispense justice are in conflict with each other. Due to it their confidence among people have been eroded badly. Caretaker governments should be installed in centre and provinces and one date for holding polls be set so that entire nation participates in election. JI is in contact with political parties for forging consensus among them in regard to polls, he said this while talking to delegation of journalists here. Delegation comprised Abdul Rehman Afridi, Zahid Hussain Rind, Abdul Ghani Khoso, Barkat Khokhar, Asad Ali Mughal and others.
He claimed due to PDM and PTI governments our economy is drifting to minus. Per capita income has declined. Our rupee has devalued. Exports have dipped. Loans have surged.
He stated during last three months more than 250,000 skilled people have left country. At present over 110 million people are living below poverty line. People are drifting into depression due to economic recession. Every 5th Pakistan has fallen victim to depression. Law and order situation is worst.
He pointed out street crimes and kidnapping for ransom like crimes have soared in Sindh. Dacoits rule is in place in some areas of Sindh. Administration is also in collusion with them. Balochistan and KP are at clash with each other. Government employees and common citizens are dying in blasts.
Now only one institution of accountability is left and it is people. They should change their destiny through vote. He stated those who are talking about holding of polls within 90 days should know that 90 days will be completed on April 16. What date president Arif Alvi has given exceeds appointed period.
If election is held in Punjab and KP and there is government of PDM in centre then no one will accept it. If election is held on 131 national assembly seats then election will continue to be held. Then there will be chaos and civil war rather than election.
“Full court should be held to make decision so that no ambiguity is left that decision has come in favour of what party. There is difference of opinion among two judges in one case. They themselves have confused people.” Judiciary, establishment and Election Commission will have to be neutral in order to come out of all crisis, he underlined.
