KARACHI: Prominent political leaders of Balochistan called on PPP co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and announced to join Pakistan Peoples’ Party. Announcement to join PPP was made after meeting with former President at Bilawal House here. Those who have joined PPP included former Senator Sardar Fateh Muhammad Hassani, Nawabzada Gazin Marri, Tahir Mahmood coordinator of Chief Minister of Balochistan Nawabzada Jamal Raisani and Mir Fareed Raisani. Moreover, Mir Abdullah Raheja and Mir Allah Bakhsh Rind also joined party.

Zardari welcomed them to party, saying that PPP has always fought for rights of Balochistan.

On December 31, former Finance Minister Mir Zahoor Buledi, former ministers Saleem Khan Khoso and SACM Agha Shakeel Ahmed Durrani joined Pakistan Peoples’ Party. All three politicians belong to ruling Balochistan Awami Party. PPP supremo Asif Ali Zardari contacted prominent political leaders of Balochistan last month and invited them to join PPP.
