KARACHI: Police grabbed another success in policeman Abdul Rehman’s killing case and seized another vehicle of prime suspect Khurram Nisar during a raid. Prior to seizure of suspect’s vehicle, Police arrested two facilitators of Khurram Nisar who helped him to flee abroad. Investigation team headed by SP Clifton Ahmed Chaudhry conducted raid near Airport Road connecting to Shah-rahe-Faisal.

Vehicle that was being used by Nisar to reach Airport was seized in raid. Investigation team also recovered a 9mm pistol and six rounds from vehicle, whereas, officials also found number plate of another vehicle. It emerged that prime suspect hid original number of vehicle while recovered number plates are from Punjab province. Raiding team expanded search operation on locality to find more evidence. Earlier in day, Federal Investigation Agency refuted claims of police investigators regarding delay in putting name of suspect in stop list in policeman’s killing case. FIA rejected claims of police blaming intelligence agency’s inaction for putting suspect’s name in stop list.
