Police nabs woman, son accused of torturing servant to death

Police claimed to have rounded up woman and her son who disappeared after leaving tortured body of a 14-year-old servant at a hospital. According to SSP East Abdul Raheem Sheerazi, woman named Samreen and son Farhan Javed were arrested from bungalow near Shaheed-e-Millat Road.
SSP Sheerazi said servant, who was ‘tortured to death’ actually belonged to Punjab. Mother and son in initial interrogation confessed to their crime. Boy was tortured over allegation of stealing Rs 20,000 and was given first aid at home after his condition worsened, accused informed police.
We rushed to hospital due to critical condition and fled after leaving him at hospital, accused said in an initial probe. SSP Sheerazi said they are waiting for chemical examination and DNA reports after which situation will be cleared. CCTV footage of incident shows woman took body to hospital. Body was on back seat of car.
