RAWALPINDI: Police declared Sheikh Rasheed and his nephew innocent in incident of desecration of Masjid-e-Nabavi and presented report in this regard before single bench of Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench. Police filed report in court with reference to petition seeking dismissal of case against Sheikh Rasheed and his nephew. 

Court has wrapped up petition and directed petitioners to resort to subordinate court.  During hearing of case Sheikh Rasheed, his counsel Sardar Abdul Razzaq, Assistant Advocate General Punjab Zahid Anwar and plaintiff of case were present in court. 

Investigation officer in case told court Sheikh Rasheed and Sheikh Rashid Rafiq have been declared innocent in blasphemy case. Blasphemy case registered against Sheikh Rasheed in Faisalabad has also been dismissed.
