Police Chief promises enhanced security for North Karachi industrial area

KARACHI: Additional Inspector General of Police Karachi Javed Alam Odho assured improvement of security situation in North Karachi industrial area and pledged all possible cooperation to industrialists.

He emphasised that all resources would be employed to enhance law and order and that strict action would be taken against criminals to provide industrial community with peaceful environment.

In meeting with delegation that included Faisal Moiz Khan, President of North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry (NKATI), Chief CPLC Zubair Habib, senior Vice President NKATI Shabbir Ismail, Vice President Naeem Haider, Deputy Chief CMC-NKATI Syed Yasir Ali and Assistant Chief CMC Shehzad Elahi.

Faisal Moiz Khan informed Additional IG about unsatisfactory security situation in industrial area and discussed various aspects related to establishing lasting peace and order.

He thanked AIG for providing additional personnel to crime monitoring cell and offered the support of industrial community, stating that if industries thrive, country will prosper.

He stated that providing conducive environment for industrial community will undoubtedly increase production activities and boost exports, helping country overcome serious economic crises and deficits.
