KARACHI: Sindh police on tip-off apprehended four-member rikshaw gang involved in series of robberies in city. According to Senior Superintendent of Police Zubair Nazir Sheikh with help of CCTV footage, suspects identified as Zahoor, Aslam, Nauman and Shahzad were taken into custody.

During interrogation, apprehended suspects confessed to their involvement in 25 robberies, meanwhile, suspects can also be seen conducting criminal acts in CCTV footage.

Investigation further revealed that gang comprises total of ten criminals, indicating existence of larger criminal network operating in city.

Notably, suspects reportedly received weapons from an absconding accomplice named Jaam Zahoor, who remained at large.

Furthermore, police officials also recovered four pistols and motorbike from possession of accused robbers.
