POL prices hike result of poor policies of PTI govt: Ahsan

NAROWAL: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal held Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan responsible for recent hike in fuel prices and ongoing inflation. “Nation is witnessing inflation and economic crisis due to imprudent policies of previous Imran Khan-led government,” he said while addressing PML-N’s workers convention here.
Ahsan Iqbal lambasted Imran Khan for signing an agreement with International Monetary Fund on “Difficult terms and conditions”. Praising PML-N’s previous tenure, Iqbal said that his party put country on right track during its previous tenure under leadership of Nawaz Sharif, claiming that country was rapidly progressing in 2018.
Meanwhile, Dar announced prices of kerosene oil and light diesel oil have been increased by Rs 18 per litre. Petrol will be priced at Rs 249.80, diesel at Rs 262.80, kerosene oil at Rs189.83 and light diesel at Rs187.
