ISLAMABAD: A 10 member delegation of Pakistan Navy War College visited Ministry of Maritime Affairs as part of their study tour. Delegation headed by Rear Admiral Shifaat Ali Khan SI(M), Commandant Pakistan Navy War College was briefed by  Minister for Maritime Affairs Senator Syed Faisal Ali Subzwari.

Minister briefed delegation on functions of ministry and prospects of country’s maritime sector, according to a press release issued. He further said that in National Security Policy, there was special focus on pivotal role of national economy. He further apprised young officers on contributions of all three ports of Pakistan to national economy and highlighted challenges that ministry was facing in each department.

Delegation head briefed minister about roles and responsibilities of PN War College and said that it was a premier seat of learning in Pakistan Navy and provided training to mid-career officers. Meeting ended with a vote of thanks from  participant and with exchange of souvenirs from both sides.
