PML-Q places give and take conditions on matter of dissolution of PA

Islamabad: PML-Q has placed conditions before PTI in connection with dissolution of Punjab Assembly (PA).

PML-Q on other side has refused to merge party into PTI besides seeking seat adjustment on 10 National Assembly (NA) seats and 20 Punjab Assembly (PA) seats.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan has assured PML-Q regarding seat adjustment on eve of election.

According to sources PML-Q has placed before Imran Khan give and take conditions in connection with matter of dissolution of PA. PML-Q has also sought 10 seats of NA and 20 seats of Punjab Assembly from PTI.

Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi while refusing to merge PML-Q into PTI took plea that central president of party is still Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, therefore, I cannot merge. As per sources PTI has refused to accept PML-Q demands.

Chairman PTI Imran Khan said you should go side by side us. We will make adjustment wherever it is needed.

Pervez Elahi and Moonis Elahi have refused to give date for dissolution of assembly unless their conditions are accepted.

Moonis Elahi is of view we want to make our political future secure. If we dissolve assembly then what will be our future.

According to sources one faction of PTI is opposed to accept conditions of PML-Q terming it blackmailing. Second faction wants to merge PML-Q into PTI.

Conditions have to be accepted or otherwise, decisive meeting between Imran Khan and Chaudhry Pervez Elahi is expected today or day after in this regard.

PML-Q leaders placed their demands before President Arif Alvi during their meeting. As per PML-Q sources Chaudhry Pervez Elahi does not want dissolution of assembly till March.
