PML-N, MQM-P resolve to focus judicial reforms

Karachi: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan expressed resolve to focus on judicial reforms. Addressing press conference flanked by MQM-P Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Rafique stressed need for electoral adjustment in bid to take country out of economic and political crises.

Former Minister said, “Alliance between PML-N and MQM-P will turn out to be fruitful for country. Seat adjustment is necessary ahead of elections”.

He maintained, “No talks had been held between us [PML-N, MQM-P] in terms of seat adjustment”. PML-N leader stated, “Manifesto of electoral alliance will also focus on system of justice, judicial reforms and bureaucratic reforms. We don’t accept National Accountability Bureau law”.

Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui urged need to uphold country’s Constitution. We have to accept that country is facing myriad of issues. He opposed political vendetta. Underscoring importance of putting up efforts to strengthen democracy, Siddiqui said, “There is need to uphold such form of democracy that will reap benefits for people in general”.

“We [MQM-P, PML-N] are going to enter partnership that will lead country towards prosperity,” he maintained.
