ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz knew how to deal with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s long march which was aimed at creating chaos and anarchy in country.
“Imran Khan’s long march will be sent packing before it would make it to Islamabad,” she said while talking to media on political situation and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to China. She said PTI had planned to turn long march into “bloody march, but government would protect citizens’ life and property at all cost. Imran Niazi wanted to get a date of fresh election through “bloodshed, abuses, guns and bloody revolution”, which was near to impossible, she remarked.
He was bent upon on dividing nation and creating anarchy, she said, adding Imran Khan wanted a martial law in country as he had already hatched a conspiracy to pit police forces of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa against police of federal capital. She said democracy would flourish in country and masses would be served in best possible way.
“When a verdict come against his will Imran started threatening state institutions,” she said, adding people knew fascist mindset of Imran Niazi and real truth behind so-called revolution. Marriyum said Imran Khan who used to call others thieves could not prove a single allegation against Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, Hamza Shehbaz, Maryam Nawaz, Ahsan Iqbal, Rana Sanaullah, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Miftah Ismail during his tenure.
She regretted that multi-billion corridor project CPEC was halted in last four years by PTI government, adding not even a single meeting of Joint Cooperation Committee was held during its tenure. He said 1,500 to 2,000 people could not decide fate of entire country as nation of 220 million wanted supremacy of Constitution and law.
