PML-N does not need political alliance in upcoming general election, says Rana Sanaullah

Islamabad: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah ruled out electoral alliance with any political party, saying Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz “Does not need any alliance” to contest upcoming general elections.
“PML-N has not taken any decision regarding electoral alliance with any party,” he said while addressing press conference here. Security czar however, added that seat adjustment is possible with all political parties.
Sanaullah lashed out at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan saying that it was unfortunate for country such person entered politics who did not believe in talking to politicians. “Fitna has reached its end today,” he added.
His statement comes amid reports that newly-formed Istihkam-e-Pakistan Party is seeking an electoral alliance with ruling PML-N to contest general elections scheduled to be held in October this year.
Jahangir Tareen, chief of IPP left for UK, during visit he is expected to hold meeting with PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif to discuss possibility of an electoral alliance between two parties.
In March this year, former President Asif Ali Zardari also ruled out possibility of contesting next elections for an alliance with ruling coalition. “We are not part of PDM, but we are their partners in government,” he said.
