PML-N delegation to meet MQM-P leadership tomorrow

KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz delegation will hold meeting with Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan leaders here on Sunday. Sources said meeting will discuss an electoral alliance between two parties in Sindh.
Delegation of PMLN leaders from Punjab will visit Karachi on Saturday. Delegation is expected to visit MQM-P’s head office in Bahadurabad. Both parties will discuss electoral collaboration, seat adjustment and future course of action in meeting, said sources. According to MQM-P spokesperson, both parties have agreed on close working relationship. Earlier PML-N and MQM-Pakistan announced to contest 2024 general elections jointly.
Announcement was made by MQM-P and PML-N leaders in joint press conference following delegation-level meeting with former premiers Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore. MQM delegation comprised Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Farooq Sattar and Mustafa Kamal. Two parties decided to set up six-member committee to prepare comprehensive charter to address problems of Sindh province, especially its urban areas.
