ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan accused Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Election Commission of Pakistan of being behind audio leaks scandal. During his meeting with journalists, PTI Chairman once again demanded ECP CEC Sikandar Sultan Raja should tender his resignation, while Imran also challenged open hearing on Toshakhana case and said that long march is not far away from here. Claiming that people would head to long march in large numbers, former premier challenged that no one could stop PTI from staging a long march.

Claiming that due to PTI, overseas Pakistanis are facing a ban on joining political party, Imran said that if overseas Pakistanis are not ‘acceptable’, then there is no need to take remittances from them. Imran asked ECP to tell what happened with funding cases of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan Peoples’ Party.

PTI supremo reiterated that if fair and free elections will not be held, then country would not bear consequences. He added that process of appointments of CEC and its members, as well as NAB Chairman should have to be changed. “With Daska election, I came to know that entire game has been changed. I fully believe that plan to disqualify me has already been made”, claimed Imran. Taking a jibe at his political opponents, Imran said that he has been saying from first day that his opponents are not ‘democratic’, but rather ‘criminals’. Imran flayed incumbent government and went on to say that he expressed his gratitude to coalition government for making the ‘alive’ again. Expressing his thoughts on by-elections, Imran said that no matter if rigging happens, PTI will be ‘victorious’.
