PMA members discuss issues with Gov Tessori

Karachi: Delegation of Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) met Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori at Governor House. PMA Executive Committee member Prof. Tipu Sultan led team. Matters provision of facilities to its members, problems of doctors and other mutual interest matters were discussed. Governor said that doctors who are engaged in service of suffering humanity deserve to be appreciated. Patients recover with their attention and compassion. Kamran Tessori said people consider doctors and medical staff as messiahs. Central Secretary General Dr. Abdul Ghafoor, Karachi General Secretary Dr. Altaf Hussain, Dr. Qaiser Sajjad. And Dr. Qazi Wasiq were members.
Meanwhile, Governor inaugurated Saylani Bachat Bazar. Maulana Bashir Farooqui head of Trust International was also present. Flour, oil and syrup are sold at 30 percent less than market in Bachat Bazar are available. Governor appreciating efforts of Saylani said that Saylani and Maulana Bashir Farooqui do not need any introduction and people have full confidence in their every action.
He said that Saylani belongs to poor and middle class.
Moreover Chancellor of Nazir Hussain University Farhat Khan met with Governor. They discussed promotion of higher education in province, role of private universities in this context and importance of research in universities
Problems faced by university, financial difficulties and facilities provided to students were also discussed. Governor said that better use of skills of highly educated youth is necessary for development of country. He said Nazir Hussain University has shown remarkable performance in short period of time. Vice Chancellor Dr. Bilal Alvi, Adnan Aamir Ali, Adil Khan, Registrar Afzal Khan were also present in meeting.
