PM updates Chinese mining firms of Pakistan’s pro-investment policies

BEIJING: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar said Pakistan was offering Chinese companies and world an opportunity for investment in mining and metallurgy sectors with high productivity yields.

Prime Minister Kakar expressed these views as he met Chairman Minmentals Weng Zuliang and Chairman China Metallurgical Group Corporation Chen Jianuang in Beijing.

Meeting was held on sidelines of Third Belt and Road Forum which was opened by President Xi Jinping on Wednesday. PM Kakar apprised delegation about the Special Investment Facilitation Council set up for promotion of foreign investment in country. Heads of Chinese companies expressed keen interest to invest in Pakistan.
