PM Shehbaz visits Chinese Embassy, condoles death of ex-Chinese President

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Chinese Embassy here to condole death of former Chinese President Jiang Zemin. Prime Minister met Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong and expressed his deep grief on death of former Chinese President. Late Jiang Zemin will always be remembered as a great leader as he played very important role in strengthening Pakistan-China relations, Prime Minister added.
Late President Jiang Zemin’s role in China’s development was pivotal, Shehbaz Sharif remarked. Later Prime Minister penned his comments in condolence book.
Meanwhile, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar called on Shehbaz Sharif here.
Professional matters pertaining to Pakistan Air Force came under discussion, PM Office said.
