PM Shehbaz, UAE President discuss economic relief

ABU DHABI: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan wherein latter agreed to roll over existing loan of $ 2 billion and provide $ 1 billion additional loan.
In meeting took place in Abu Dhabi during PM’s two-day visit, both sides agreed to deepen investment cooperation, stimulate partnerships and enable investment integration opportunities between two countries.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed praised historical relations between two nations and valuable contributions made by Pakistani community in UAE.
Two leaders discussed fraternal relations existing between Pakistan and UAE and explored ways and means to further strengthen these ties, especially in fields of trade, investment and energy.
They exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest. They expressed satisfaction over pace of steady progress in bilateral relations.
They agreed on importance of enhanced bilateral exchanges and regular dialogue at all levels to further solidify and provide momentum to relationship. Shehbaz Sharif invited Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed for state visit to Pakistan to which he agreed. Date will be decided through diplomatic channels.
