ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif decided that he will review himself meetings conducted regarding security situation in country in general and security of Chinese nationals working on different projects across country in particular every month.

His direction came during high-level meeting regarding law and order situation in country. Meeting has taken place after six people, including five Chinese engineers, were killed in suicide attack in Besham, remote area of K-P province on March 26.

In meeting, PM Shehbaz directed to make comprehensive plan of action for regular audit of security SOPs. “We will continue war against monster of terrorism until it is eradicated from country,” Shehbaz said.

In addition, premier directed Ministry of Interior to increase cooperation with provinces for eradication of terrorism from country and for bringing further improvement in provincial anti-terrorism departments.

PM Shehbaz had instructed to conduct thorough joint investigation, saying perpetrators of barbaric act would be brought to justice swiftly.
