ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that bilateral relations as well as economic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were getting stronger, terming his recent visit to Kingdom as ‘historic’.

In statement issued following conclusion of his visit to Kingdom, mainly to attend Special Meeting of World Economic Forum, he said delegation of Saudi businessmen was about to visit Pakistan in coming days.

Visit would help accelerate pace of economic partnership between two countries, he added. PM Shehbaz reiterated resolve to make all-out efforts to materialise understanding reached between two leaderships. With Pak-Saudi economic partnership, new era of bilateral ties had begun, he remarked.

Highlighting significance of his three-day visit to Kingdom marking very fruitful discussions, he also mentioned his interactions with world leaders which led to positive developments in multifaceted cooperation in trade and investment.

Referring to his address at World Economic Forum, PM Shehbaz said that he had categorically made it clear that there could be no peace in world without establishing peace in Gaza. He expressed gratitude to Saudi ministers for their efforts and full preparations to help reach understanding between leaderships of two countries.
