ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned bomb blast in Quetta and sought report from concerned officials regarding terrorist attack.

PM Shehbaz Sharif expressed condolence to families of victims and prayed for peace of departed souls and early recovery of wounded persons. He vowed that government will foil all nefarious plans of terrorists. Moreover, Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau reached Civil Hospital Quetta’s Trauma Centre and inquired about health of wounded persons in Kandhari Bazar bomb blast. He directed authorities to provide best medical facilities to victims.

Earlier in day, at least four people were killed while eight sustained injuries in blast near Shara-e-Iqbal, Bukhari Centre Quetta. According to police officials, explosion occurred when vehicle of Superintendent of Police investigation Saddar was passing by. Officials confirmed that SP investigation Saddar was not in his vehicle when explosion took place. Several vehicles were also damaged as result of explosion.
